Hi, I’m Laurissa, a beginner homesteader and aspiring farmer.

My goal is to develop my 10 acres into a permaculture oasis–in between mothering my three sons, my career as a fire protection engineer, and coaching youth basketball.

I hope to inspire others who want to take a stand against the degradation of our planet, but don’t know what to do or where to start.

I’ve decided to be the change I want to see in the world and test the theory that one person can change the future.  If not me, then who? If not now, then when?
